Fucking great thread.
I really cannot stand this song. I never used to mind it, but I think my dad went through an era of playing the same ELO Greatest Hits CD all the time in his van and I'd begin to feel (physically) sick at this song. Now whenever I listen to it, I get car sickness, and tbh my thoughts on the song have done nothing but went more critical as time has went by too. Think it's an absolute borefest, uninspired and indicative of everything generally bad about pop/rock in the late 70's early 80's (vocoded singing to make it sound "interesting", cowbells and too much fucking synth). Really hate that this is the ELO song that everybody flocks to.
