Really fun artist I've come across thanks the mysterious algorithm. Pop-punk meets alt-pop. I'm spiralling but I'm joking but no I'm actually really spiralling tone doesn't come across as shtick when there's moments of real vulnerability. I've not listened to much new stuff this year but I don't think anything is going to dislodge this album as my favourite.

Listened to this on a whim at the gym earlier today (like 11am, unfortunately my shower is out of operation again lol so I'm having to shower at the gym everyday - at least it keeps me fit and makes me workout!) and I reckon this is one of the most fun new artists I've listened to in a while - so much so that I've just kind of slammed through her today. Feels like the natural evolution of punk girl/alt pop I remember so fondly when I was younger lmao.

I've done the same and had her on repeat since Monday at this point. All I want to do is sing Hot Dad on karaoke.

This album is 13 years old today. A stunning album to break the 6 year wait that felt so much longer. I think this album has every right to be ranked in the same tier as Songs for the Deaf. This is my favourite track. I love the quiet then loud contrasts and obviously Trent Reznor being on it doesn't harm. 

Fun lore fact: my longstanding avatar is taken from the promo material they were using in the run up to the album being released. If you ever wondered what the hell it was. Boneface's are style is so awesome.
