Beetleborgs? That's a name I haven't heard since before MGS1 came out.

"Is die hard a Christmas film" stopped being an entertaining conversation starter at Christmas over 10 years ago and is very much in the realms of "is a hotdog a sandwich" area of terrible "banter" by people with personalities drier than Gandhi's flip flops in the Sahara. It's not a conversation, it's a verbal screensaver A hostage situation. We're being detained so civility and politeness are not sacrificed during the drawn out negotiations. The demands are falling in to line with curated social discourse because it's been a meme for too long and to try and opt out of the inauthentic babbling would be seen as impolite and mean spirited.

Spoiler:

I watched it for the first time a couple years ago and I thought it was really enjoyable and also....obviously a Christmas film? Like all of a sudden I retroactively judged every person who'd ever brought the point up as a fun topic of conversation because before I was like "oh is it? I've not seen it" but once I had I just felt like it's about as interesting as arguing that Home Alone is a Christmas film.

Some people just act as if they need any excuse to just make it known that they like action films. Like good job, I'm proud of you?
