So How's everybody ringing in the New Year?

I'm going out for like the first time on NYE in 13+ years maybe longer. I'm not usually arsed about NYE, and I'm not this year. It's just the option is there and I'm taking it this year. I'm going to a large gathering in town with familiar faces. I'll be staying sober and probably head home not long after midnight. That's the plan anyway.


Anyone got any resolutions or plans for 2026? I've got my first Unicycle class this Sunday. I'm going to see how much time that eats up before I look in to taking up boxing.

I'm gonna try and read more I think. Sounds bad but I read 2 1/2 books this year and that's the most I've read in a long time.

Are you training to become a clown? Sincere question because you're acquiring a very particular skill set.

I read one book all year and bought more with the reading more but never followed through, so I'm in the same boat.

I lack the charisma and showmanship to be a clown or performer unfortunately. In all sincerity I have no idea. People really do respond well when juggling comes up, they smile and ask for a demonstration / have I got a video to show them. So unicycle seems like the next thing to add because I don't see that getting a good response. Also it opens a lot more options for doing stuff in the flow arts community.
