MGR: Favourite fighting style in Metal Gear Rising?

In MGR:R, there's a lot of different weapons to shoose from - of course, the katana subtype is the classic, and everybody will probably play through the game once or twice hardly changing from it, but it's got plenty of choices too. Here's a quick rundown of them all:

• The High Frequency (HF) Blade (Katana) - The default weapon you see Raiden with, well balanced and with good damage output, this is where most of Raiden's skill-tree will go.
  
• L'Etranger (Polearm) - Won from defeating Mistral, translating to 'The Stranger' in French, this polearm disconnects to let Raiden output with high range, effective and sweeping combos. These have the longest reach with a lower damage output, good speed and bad performance for aerial combos, despite their overall weakness, they're good for high combos thanks to the long range and rapid attacks.
  
• Bloodlust (Pincer Bladers) - Gained from defeating Sundowner, these weapons are heavy hitting, slow and powerful with huge damage output. They're less effective for aerial combos or parrying, but can take enemies down swiftly. 
  
• Dystopia (Sai) - These are a prize for defeating Monsoon, and will let you initiate charge attacks, aerial combos and long range throws. They're well balanced and have high damage opportunity, but at the cost of needing more accuracy and faster reaction times. 
  

Personally, my favourite pair (if I were to choose a best and second best) are the High Frequency blade (particularly the FOX Blade if you have that unlocked) and the Sai. Both have that classic "CYBORG NINJA!" kind of feel to them, and let you play in a varied way which I always thought created a lot of fun in the combo system.
