Metal Gear Solid Delta

I just watched a bit of an old stream from the OuterHeavenNetwork/TV on their first playthrough of MGS: Delta. The first hour was just alot of whining and moaning about the controllers, so much to the point where I turned it off. My question is for those of you who have played Delta, is it a good remake, are you glad and excited that it was made?

Is it really MGS3 but just in better graphics? I'm thinking of buying it on PC/Steam since I'll move all my collections there once Vol.2 releases in August. The sole purpose of owning a PS3 was just so I could play MGS4 - but times have changed - to the better!

You can find a lot of member's general thoughts on Delta (and a long review I wrote lol) in the Delta subforum. "Delta impressions thread" has the biggest variety of opinions as many people posted in there after playing it for the first time.
