Thought Backrooms was such a deeply boring and disappointing film with an active lack of interesting characters whatsoever, real development (plot or otherwise) or even any aesthetic level to make me at least leave the cinema feeling inspired. Hokum out of the trio of horror films released in the same timeframe deserved the number 2 spot alongside Obsession really, but it flew totally under the radar.
