Howdy gang, just got back from a few days in Germany for Oktoberfest. Was damn fun, I consider myself a pretty accomplished drinker but man after 6 steins the evening sure got hazy.

What the fuck is up with Germans tho lmao, my group ended making pals with the people sharing a bench with us and they pull out this tiny bottle that looks like coke or some other powder and offers it to us. Asked about it and they said it helps you breathe? Anyway decided the imbibe in the local culture and rip a line and it felt like snorting pure crushed up trebor mint. Next day I was seeing it sold at the tobacco stalls, apparently you can get it with or without nicotine?

Did not get the point at all, it was like the candy cigarette equivalent of hard drugs but people were sniffing it up like they were Scarface

Without nicotine is wild. Finally, a snortable powder that both smokers and drug addicts can agree is completely pointless.

I guess it might be good……for…………cosplay?

Is anyone any good at painting with a roller I swear why does it feel like it’s impossible to use even though I’ve used one so many times

Why is it never evenly coated? Why does it never apply evenly? Why does it feel like the middle is useless?

I'm terrible in general at anything DIY, painting included. I don't seem to be able to comprehend the reality of physics when using a roller when I get to corners or the ends of walls so I'm just best staying away.

Finally repainted the kitchen ceiling with a roller the other day (when we moved in, I somehow spilt wine on it, gravity was against me that day) and the other day, also got soup on it whilst cooking. So I had to bite the bullet and do it. Took two coats before it looked decent.

And then my partner sprayed a bunch of bits with some fly killer to get some sitting on the ceiling and it's stained it a darker colour. 😭 Not even gonna bother taking the masking tape down tbh.

Found this in work. This is either going to be "exhibit A" or a premise to a single season, not to be renewed Netflix series. I'd watch it.
