Got my London Marathon ballot email result today and I didn't get in to dun it. Meanwhile, someone else I know has got in on the ballot TWO YEARS IN A ROW!
In other words, I'll be (bitterly) running a marathon in Florence, Italy, November 30th. Come eat pasta with me fellow Metal Gears.

How’s everyone doing on this boiling hot day? I’m indoors with the doors, windows and curtains shut playing Final Fantasy VII because I’m a normal well adjusted human being.
An acquaintance(? Friend of a friend but we’re becoming more chummy I suppose) has a housewarming today that he’s been talking about for ages so will try to go to that but it HAS just started raining so we’ll see.
Got sunburnt like an idiot yesterday so don’t really want to be in the sun at all. I’ve always hated putting sun cream on but it has to be done.
I've been in most of the day but our house is ridiculously humid on the coolest days so it's hideous. Out at Leelee's parents house for now where there's a little bit of air finally.
