That travelling into school when it’s still half term feeling

I refuse to believe anyone has ever gone into school on a day off let alone a week off, those are the times of the year you live for.

I once went in on a teacher training day. I can still see the look of disappointment/ exasperation on my English teachers face.

I don't know who you people are anymore.

I refuse to believe anyone has ever gone into school on a day off let alone a week off, those are the times of the year you live for.

Going in uniform on non-uniform day though, that was the absolute worst.

I barely remember my time in the UK schooling system but I also have never heard of mufti, we just called it "non-uniform day" here.
Tag day for me. Also not sure why it’s called that either though.
My school didn't have uniforms.

We did have a drive your tractor to school day once for the hicks 🤠

I have learned something new today.

I always assumed the word was just some weird Victorian word that they kept using
