DAY 1 END - NO LYNCH

After a day that felt like three, the diners leave one by one. The complimentary bottle of Remy Martin cognac champagne is empty, though some of the glasses seem untouched. I had calculated a 61% chance of the culprits being ascertained, though it seems lower now. Nerves, perhaps. I finish my second martini (too wet, one part dry vermouth to three parts gin is typical unless specified otherwise) and slip out myself. The bartender may have spilled some brine from the olive garnish too now that I think about it, there was an unwanted saltiness to it. I start heading home until I remember i'm supposed to keep track of night activities.

NIGHT 1 START

Please PM me your desired night actions and once i've heard from everyone we'll proceed!

Texarkana Restaurant, Kingsbridge, Bronx, NY

The limo again brings the diners to a surprise location. An upmarket Tex-Mex joint with ironic Southwestern decor, Santa Fe colours, Navajo blankets, cowboy art, and rawhide banquettes. The night has been lengthy but quiet, It was easy enough to keep track of the suspects' motions. Some made no motions at all besides running some unrelated driving errands. The police have been asking around but haven't made any headway.

I remind myself of the special abilities i've endowed my guests with. Some of them have more information than they did yesterday. They need simply to relay to me privately if they wish to claim something, via one of the many ludicrously dressed waiters attending the restaurant. The coats sit idly in the cloakroom, each likely with a Walkman in the side pocket. The maitre d' recommends the mud soup and charcoal arugala, though the diners stick with their usual orders which I convinced the head chef to oblige with.

I've had plenty of time to think, could two of Paul's friends really have killed him, and with what motive? Could it be for no reason at all? I could hardly sleep. I went home after tracking nocturnal activities and couldn't decide how to distract myself. I found an imported JAV (on VHS, of course) and began to dispassionately masturbate. First looking at the JAV, then thinking about the case, then thinking about Paul's fiance, Meredith, who I suppose is single now, then back to the JAV, then Meredith again, and finally about a woman I met in an elevator for 15 seconds, about ten years ago.

We're in the danger zone now people-mafia will have had a chance to ID someone meaning tomorrow we can expect one less patron wherever we wind up dining.

I'm gonna be frank-I suspected Jassassino based on his questioning of the No Lynch tactic yesterday (as well as his diabolical choice of main at Dorsia). I took it upon myself to look into it and I've found that he's innocent. Anyone else made any safe IDs? My understanding is that mafia can only kill whoever they ID'd last night so confirmed townies aren't necessarily at greater risk for now.

I stare at my soup. I wonder if it's too spicy. The southwest intimidates me. Lots of things do. Mostly the investigation I performed the night before. I got... half of an idea. Not enough to actually know anything. But maybe, just maybe... The letters spell something out to me. Or perhaps I'm seeing things. I excuse myself, needing the bathroom.

(Sending a PM for my action, but if it's meant to be posted in public, I will edit this post.)
