Saw King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard do a rave set last night. It was good but not something I'd go to again. I'd far prefer a regular set. It being Halloween enhanced the experience to be fair. Being in the pit as a vampire alongside Spider-Man, tall Lord Farquad and female Zoidberg is now a core memory.

Saw Electric Six last night. They were really fun. It's a shame I only knew 3 songs, I think anyone more familiar with their discography would have had a blast. Being in the pit for Gay Bar is an all time life highlight. Would love to see them again, they stay behind and drink with the fans but I had to shoot for work. Would recommend seeing them if you can.
The support act "Enjoyable Listens" were incredibly fun and would see them again.

Saw Hans Zimmer last night for the third time, although the first time with Leelee. I tried to go with her on both previous occasions but she was too unwell and unable to go given her anxiety. It was great although at first I thought I'd hate it. Less orchestra and more guitars on this tour and a few reimaginings of tracks, the Dark Knight and Dune opening really annoyed me because the drums and guitar were way too heavy. But everything after that was great. Was nice to actually have a date with Leelee, went for dinner and everything and she made it through the whole show. Haven't had the opportunity to do that for about 7 years really. Almost felt like a normal human for a while again.

Forgot to mention that I've got tickets to see Masayoshi Takanaka in Brixton on 31st March. Beyond hyped holy shit.

Who here uses earplugs? I went to a club night last night and my right ear is still ringing. I've known for a long time I should start using them but didn't wanna be FUCKING LAME shoving something in my ear every concert.
What ones work for you? I'm looking at the Loop ones but they're pretty pricey. Are they worth it if anyone's got them?

I've used Loop and they're good. Thing is I've lost every fucking set I've had (one at a time) and I'm just prepping for tinnitus instead of buying more at this point.
Bob Vylan tonight. I know 2 songs but I don't care. I'm expecting carnage.

Loop Switch 2, absolute lifesaver and I've been able to so comfortably go to gigs and night clubs with them in and switch around the settings to hear more/less for conversation or favourite songs.
Can't find the setting to upgrade my copy of Breath of the Wild on them though, starting to think that it's just a whole load of marketing hogwash.

Have a pair of loops but never tried them for a gig. Issue is that they kill all of the surrounding noise for me and I feel like I'm underwater, so if I use them I tend to only wear one.
Also, saw Miles Kane in January and Suede on Thursday. God were Suede great live.
