womp womp  Cookie Monster

It was the same thing when I saw them in October 2010, literally the only bad thing about what is otherwise the best live gig I've ever been to.

Just happy to tick them off the list as that was a price I won't pay again and getting home from the Co-Op Live is a nightmare for me vs AO Arena.

I have a ticket for them for tomorrow night and can't figure out whether to go or sell. I used to adore them but it has been many years since that time and I'm not quite sure how much of Is This It and Room On Fire will be played (plus a little of FIOE) without checking the setlist which I don't want to do. I listened to a bit of the newest album and did not like it at all. I keep chickening out of standing gigs because of my back troubles but I'm also wary like @Dirty Duck  that I have a lot of expenses coming up and perhaps this shouldn't be a priority.

Fuck it I'm here and looking forward to it. Feels so weird after so many years given how regularly I used to attend gigs and never really got back to it after Covid.

Hope you enjoy it! I missed most of the first support act but Fat White Family I did enjoy.

Not sure if we had the same first support but the opening to one of their songs was "Jesus never did a porno, Jesus never did cocaine" and it went on and on. Had a great time though, really didn't expect so many songs from the first 3 albums. Feel like I'm back.
