A simple thread but always a useful one.

Really looking forward to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 next month. Thought it looked beautiful stylistically initially and I've been keeping up with it without watching anything new but it seems like previews have been great and there's a bit of hype building.

Also had an order for Sekiro in from Amazon for months and still haven't received it. I'm in London on Friday so I might just try get a copy when over because it can't be found here and it's so expensive currently. I'm also going to get a copy of the FF pixel remaster as it's around €80 here and anywhere else that'll ship here.

What are you guys looking forward to or playing currently? I'm mainly playing FFXIV although I've had no time this week.

Atomfall didn’t review very well but I still may pick it up, I’m getting cult classic vibes from it.

Where are you dropping by in London? There’s quite a few CEX’s that have Sekiro.

I’ve been playing through and ranking the Sonic games this year. I’m on Sonic Adventure right now-I ended up restarting it when I was halfway through as Henry got me a Dreamcast for my birthday (pog). I’ve just made it past where I was when I was emulating and it is a lot better playing on the Dreamcast. Being able to put your Chao into the VMU and take it about like it’s a tamagotchi is really cool and it just feels better playing on a Dreamcast controller compared to a DualSense.

I'll be around a few places and am happy to travel but it looks like I could get it from eBay cheaper and shipped to the hotel so I'll see.

Playing three games at the minute:

- Borderlands 3. Near-perfection, from a gameplay mechanic perspective. Just loads of fun to play. Shame the Calypso Twins suck and half the planets are boring to trek through but the shooty bang bang parts are lovely.

- Pokemon Sun. A lot better than X&Y, but the "call for help" system is infuriating and makes catching new Pokemon more of a chore than it needs to be. Story is great, island vibe is great, Decidueye is great, Hau sucks. One of the better gens imo.

- Split Fiction. This game is just fucking class. Hazelight are one of the best studios out there and Josef Fares deserves all of our love. Team Mio 4 lyfe.

Really keen to play this soon. I honestly loved A Way Out and enjoyed that with Soph a tonne. Enjoyed It Takes Two as well, but not as much.

Yeah I love SuMo, it’s one of my favourites. The regional forms were such a good addition, the story and environments are refreshing, Ultra Beasts are neat, and the characters are actually mostly really cool. Hau does fill the lame nu-rival role of modern Pokemon but we still get a different badass rival with some attitude. LOVES IT.

Any of you ever seen this cover art for MGS3 before? It's an NA copy but I've never seen it. Thought it might be custom but the manual is the same so it can't be.

Edit: Nevermind I found it.

I have completed Pokemon Sun, and have now thusly completed at least one game from every Pokemon generation. I will now objectively and correctly rank all the gens

Was Gen 5 Pokemon Black? That game got me right back into Pokemon games. Absolutely bloody loved it.

I really liked Sword/Shield too, but haven't played any others since.

I did also get the new Pokemon Snap but struggled to get into like I did the original.
