It was a good attempt to reconcile the current situation as something that can coexist with Agent's claims he presented as objective yesterday, but it has holes on top of just being a long shot. It ignores that if I were the Scarlet Woman it would have been a terrible idea to put lots of attention on myself in the hopes of saving Aragorn when in reality that would be the perfect time in the game to let him die and have myself quietly become the Demon without any heat on me. Why would I have opposed it at all? I could have even voted for him to throw people off the scent even further if what Agent is saying were true.

I don't think I have any other choice here but to vote Agent. I agree with Duck that it seems more likely that Agent killed Star to throw us off than anything else. Agent has made a lot of confident assertions from the start that seemed specious and if Agent is the Empath Star's information has now been revealed as unhelpful in directly identifying the Imp anyway so I don't think there would be an incentive for an Imp that wasn't Agent to kill him. The Imp would probably have rather left him alive to draw suspicion towards him and Agent. Duck can't be the Imp because he is resistant to the Slayer's power and it seems unlikely that Null and him are allied. Duck being evil relied on Aragorn being the Imp.

We could do Jass' plan and wait a day but I feel confident in targeting Agent.

Not at all. There are only 4 possible roles the minion could have. One is impossible, two would immediately disprove me if anyone told us their role malfunctioned at any point in the game or they got some discrepancy in their role info because of the spy. Jass malfunctioned but i've claimed he's innocent from day 1 and would have no reason to poison him. Duck had to have been the scarlet woman by necessity. You have to make more assumptions if me and star were demons (the only viable player I could be paired with). I'd have to have killed him last night for a start, wouldn't it make more sense for him to kill me? I've been the one exploring every possible option, Aragorn and Duck want to rush us into a quick lynch today. 

Let's hear from the dead and then wrap this up. To be honest I solved this game on early day 2 and presented my findings clearly so as far as i'm concerned I won. 

I'll counter-nominate Dirty Duck, or whatever the official court proceedings are in this Kafka novel.

I would like to draw to your attention to the fact that we are now in the final 4. If you choose to execute today, and you get it wrong, and the Demon kills tonight then there will only be the demon and one townsfolk left meaning the evil team wins. Think very carefully about your nominations and voting in today's phase.

I was just downloading Reel Fishing: The Great Outdoors when I was also thinking about the numbers, may be worth to not execute today (I know, that's extremely unlike me and my approach to Mafia lol), as we'll force the Demon to kill an innocent, there's no other roles with immediate kill abilities, and we'll all have dead votes.

For that reason, No to Agent. 

I imagine it'll be myself killed off this phase, so it'll be between Duck, Agent and Null, but still - we could be surprised.

I understand this as a safe play in a normal 4 player scenario but you're probably right that you'll be the one killed since I'm saying Agent is the Demon, and Agent is saying I've become the Demon, so us dying wouldn't make sense, and Null can't be killed. You know you're not the Demon, and none of the living players suspect you of being the Demon either, so removing yourself from the equation doesn't actually change anyones suspicions, it'll just be exactly the same situation on Day 4 surely?

If you're telling the truth about your role claim, you will be able to verify the validity of your Demon find last night. You have one good player that registers falsely to you - scan myself and Null, if you have another hit, or if there's no hit, then it helps us to whittle it down further. The player may have already died - so this is a good way of being 100% sure

Okay that's a fair reason, but bear in mind from where I'm stood I have already investigated both you and Null. Is this on the assumption that Null could be the Scarlet Woman?

@Wayno would I be able to investigate Null and Jass even if one of them were dead? Doesn't say anywhere I can't investigate dead players but doesn't hurt to make sure.

The fortune teller can name any players to the storyteller whether alive or dead.


Right from what I can see Agent is in the block with 4 nominations. It will take 4 votes to save him and 5 to replace him. Aragorn and Annoying Prick's dead votes are now gone and can no longer vote. However, alive players can still vote yes on the next nomination(s) as much as they want.

If starschwar comes in and adds a 5th for Agent the execution will happen.

While we wait for Starschwar I will allow the counter nomination for Dirty Duck to go ahead.
