Question: Looking for general opinion on solid repaint

I wasn't keen on the play arts Kai likeness to solid snake so I thought I'd experiment a bit. I would appreciate hearing a few opinions from metal gear fans on the face repaint both good and bad. I'm not entirely happy with my effort but I'm not very experienced in figure painting although I feel like it looks more like my own idea of solid snake mgs1 than the play arts demon looking style...
