I have completed Pokemon Sun, and have now thusly completed at least one game from every Pokemon generation. I will now objectively and correctly rank all the gens

Spoiler:

Gen 2 (HeartGold is the best Pokemon game of all time, OF ALL TIME)
Gen 5 (Loved the new dex and being forced to use Gen 5 Pokemon, acquired some all time faves as a result)
Gen 1 (based on FR/LG, the 1996 originals are very hard to play now)
Gen 8 (unpopular, but this is the game that got me back into Pokemon after skipping the previous 4 generations. Soundtrack hits so hard)
Gen 7 (Alola is great, I love the vibe. Catching Pokemon is annoying though, and the trials/hakunas just don't hit like a proper gym)
Gen 3 (Ehhhh. This is where I start to lose interest a little bit)
Gen 9 (had some great ideas that could've been executed better. Would like to see this expanded upon for Gen 10)
Gen 6 (the most boring gen, I already remember so very little of it. Lumiose City was fucking annoying and Team Flare sucked)
Gen 4 (only played BDSP for this gen which is apparently far worse than OG Diamond/Pearl, maybe I'll go back one day)
