I completely forgot about this direct. MP4 looks... like another MP game I guess? I'm happy for people that like the games but they're just not for me unfortunately.

Sounds like bro isn’t a fan of feelings of isolation accompanied by beautiful bouncy beats and a well-designed self-referential map. Sounds like bro needs to get high and start a new game of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and then jump on the couch multiplayer with me when he’s too fried to remember where he saw that Ice Missile to fully appreciate all that the Prime series has to offer him. Sounds like now is the prime time to do such a thing.

I loved the sense of exploration in Prime, then the game bashes you over the head with it by making you go back and forth over and over. I guess it's just the Metroidvania style that I don't like. Echoes was fun too but again after a few hours when I had to endlessly retrace my steps it became a chore. I feel like something like Resident Evil is good design in terms of locking you off from specific areas and sequentially sending you through them, but this style just makes a game the opposite of fun for me.
