Played up to chapter 3 of South of Midnight last night. It's really solid so far, the art style is really nice, the cutscenes are pretty immaculate with the stop motion animation. Really worth checking out.

About 3/4 of the way through the game now, and I find myself enjoying the game more and more I play of it. The combat is serviceable and clearly the games biggest weakness, but it's killer soundtrack, visuals and story has captivated me in a way that a game hasn't managed in a long time.

Just when I thought the story of Rhubarb and Benji was emotional enough, the story of Cherie's death was absolutely heartwrenching. Though perhaps having a 1 year old daughter myself made it hit closer to home.
