Weirdly last time I went back home I was in sports shop that had a huge section promoting USA's team but every single jersey was Pulisic, I know he's our best player but the squad ain't that bad.

West Ham getting relegated does sadly fuck up the UkKMLB games since they have them at their stadium, might not be able to do it now that they have a championship schedule

Isn't Pulisic the LeBron James of soccer?

I have found the reaction to Tuchel's squad pretty funny. When he was brought in the reaction was "he'll take no shit and is tactically astute, he's there to try to win the tournament and will do what he has to for it". Now it's "but but but how could you leave out X????". Only players I can really understand it with is MGW but I'm sure he has his reasons.

Anthony Gordon going to Barcelona for £70 mil.

I mean, I'm pleased that we're not shelling out that kind of money for him, but what the fuck is going on?

All that money on Gordon and apparently Alvarez as well and they can't afford Rashford. Wonder if he'll take down that post thanking them.

It's an odd one, because from the outside looking in, Rashford has had a decent season for Barca, and is surely better value at £26 mil than Gordon is for £70 mil.

I don't know whether it's simply down to wages/add-ons, or whether it's because Gordon is a bigger workhorse off-the-ball.

Seems like part of it is about them being able to amortise it over a longer period of time than with Rashford, as well as his wages probably being like 1/3 of Rashford. Still funny though. First time in years that Barca have money and this is how they spend it.

He's nuts. I can't fathom that decision. Chelsea don't respect the managerial position, and they're very open about it. I had him down as a sensible guy, guess not.

I don't blame Xabi, I blame FSG. By all accounts, we simply don't rate him. We didn't approach him when Klopp handed in his notice, and we haven't approached him now whilst we're playing the worst football we've played all century and the majority of the fanbase is baying for Slot's dismissal. He wasn't going to sit on his hands forever, he was going to go find work eventually.

Alonso going is a kick in the teeth, but there are others out there that I'd take over Slot. The top 4 with the bookies at the minutes are Luis Enrique, Julian Nagelsmann, Sebastien Hoeness and Andoni Iraola, and I would happily take any of them.

Not a bad start to the weekend for you.

I'm glad the board made the right decision, but it's sad that it came to this. The man won us a League title, he should have gone on to become a legend. Can't believe it all went so badly for him.

Iraola the heavy favourite at the minute, but would love us to give Luis Enrique a call tomorrow, congratulate him on his CL victory and ask him whether he's bored of smashing everyone in France yet

Is it just me, or does Luis Enrique look like he's about to drop dead any moment? LOL
