I don’t know if you ever did do anything for me Fluxe like a sig or something but I’d definitely take it now if you’ve got it

I don't have much with your name on surprisingly, mate. Aside from the standard Patriots sig (we obviously peaked when you were part of the org), I can only find this from your mod days (FYI best forum moderator of '09 taking 46% of all votes -- just found the Excel sheet from searching your name. Haha):

I'm disappointed I didn't do more for you, pal! I'm sure there's more floating around somewhere from somebody though.

Legendary. I remember when we all did the X-Men thing. I was SO proud to be a mod, haha.

Not an image, but a memory, so at least tangentially related

This reminds me of a mission I was once on in central Africa. A group of rogue agents had taken a VIP as a prisoner and were demanding we (my government) hand over the nuclear codes. Sending in a team would have been too dangerous, so I was sent in alone on a search and destroy + rescue mission. All went to plan, except I was double crossed by a guy who used to be an assassin for the yakuza. Thankfully I managed to get out alive with the VIP, but that's another story... "

Quote:Some of the org buttons are not only nostalgic, but also just look bloody brilliant. Big fan of the DC, Diamond Dogs, OH and MGR ones.
I think a lot of them are pretty clean. You old org leaders/graphics people did a great job! Was always happy to wear your button, Shyne-Bryght
I got a lot of those buttons from the WayBack Machine. Let's see if I can scavenge some more...
ok so a deep dive in the wayback machine and I found some stuff. I saw Fluxe having a red username, which is as weird and unholy as Bread not being purple. I need to add Night Ops to the list of org buttons I've missed. Saw some members logged in I'd forgotten about. Brother of Light, Otacon, King Snake, Solid Turd, MarktheCool, Ninjagirl, Puppy, Fierce Deity, ADJ, Ocelot11, micster, Minda, iAn, Sor, Solid Snake the Great, JCC, Yackemflabber, Smoggy, LeeStephens, Canard, Young Snake, God Told Me To Skin You Alive, DigitalDude...easy to go down a rabbit hole since you can enter some of the topics as well. You may be able to find old signatures if you go into your profile.
Also, while using the Wayback machine I found something I'd figured would only exist in my memories. Some of you may remember me mentioning I joined MGSF after another site (also called Metal Gear Solid Forums) shut down due to staff drama resulting in the main admin locking it down? Turns out the other MGSF and ours were affiliated at one point and the WayBack machine had a snapshot of the one I used to be on. Neat peak at the other MGSF

Damn, some of those names bring back memories! I hope they're all good wherever they are.
Great shout on old sigs - might have to take a look. Also, those banners are awesome. We had some great designers throughout the years.
As for that other forum, I barely remember it. Old InvisionFree forums look SO good though - they would bloody hold up well today. Zetaboards/TapaTalk really fucked it up.

Love looking back at the old forum graphic styles, smaller text and hard line detailing. I know resolutions are way higher these days but I still love that format.

A took a trip on the Wayback Machine and was absolutely stunned.
A bunch of org tags. (we should totally bring this feature back)
These really bring me back...
I don't ever remember being in Shadow Moses. As I kept going through the years apparently I was a part of Diamond Dogs, too? Whatever happened to GRU? I abandoned it? I couldn't have.
That whole era is pretty fuzzy for me, probably some kind of trauma blocking. Does anyone remember what the org scene was looking like in 2016?

If org buttons are your thing, see my first (technically first three) posts in this topic.
According to the org refrence topic, GRU shut down in January 2016.
