Self indulgent and a throwback to old threads of yesteryear, but mainly I wanted to show this off lmao. Photo of me as Darth Maul for the Phantom Menace anniversary screening. Facepaint by moi. 😪

Tbh, back then I really cared about keeping in shape. But pre and post Corona was a mess in my life 🤣

![[Image: IMG-3939.jpg]](https://i.postimg.cc/FHW6PsT1/IMG-3939.jpg) I have very few photos of myself; this is from around 8 years ago, taken a few days after I met my father for the first time (except for the funerals of his parents). That's Loch Lomond in the background. I no longer have a long beard, and my hair is currently much longer (think Snake Plissken in EFNY and it's pretty close. Minus the eyepatch), but I basically look the same + 8 years of hard partying.

What were you doing there? I camped out by it a few years ago while doing the West Highland Way. It was probably one of the highlights of the whole trail. IIRC, this was just before we drove up part of the West Highland Way up to Fort William! My dad asked me what I most wanted to do on my return to Scotland (spent basically every school holiday in Bishopbriggs from age 2-16), staying with my much-missed grandparents) and I said I wanted to stand where Bond and M do in Skyfall before they go to, well, , haha. I sometimes wish I had taken a photo, but I had left my phone in the car when we stopped. But we were there specifically because my dad told me it was a great view of the loch! And I will begrudgingly admit he was right, lmao. By "doing", do you mean, like, hiking it? That's an ambition of mine, now I'm way more physically active. Years away from being a practical plan (still a heavy smoker of cigarettes for one thing). If so, fair play to you. I only sat in the passenger seat, and it was exhausting; doing it on foot is next level! If not, also very cool!
