Physint: Physint

[NateDog]

I'm reluctant to have any expectations or hopes for this until I see something concrete on it. The announcement felt like it was advertising a movie more than a game and I'm always a bit sceptical of anything like this especially given how much Kojima seems like he just wants to work with Hollywood actors now.

Kojima doesn't expect Physint to release for 5-6 years

I feel temporarily vindicated in my apprehension over this project.

I don't know if anyone expected any differently. OD is next, right?

Ridiculous to announce it minimum 6 years (likely closer to 8) before it'll likely be out though, what's the point?

[Dirty Duck]

Probably just politics amongst console companies. Kojima’s hot shit right now and OD put some hype Microsoft’s way. Death Stranding belongs to Kojima Productions now and I’m sure that’s a process that took a while meaning Sony may have wanted to reveal Physint as soon as possible to make it clear to consumers and shareholders that PlayStation’s not losing KojiPro.

Pretty sure it was Sony´s move.

[NateDog]

Kojima said he's only making Physint because people keep asking him to make more Metal Gear games.

I would not be surprised if this is a VR/AR game, now that I think about it.

"I also am starting to work with the team on OD because that's a new project, and also doing Physint all by myself because that's at the conceptual stage. So I'm doing that. And also I have all these interviews every day, and also promotional — photo-shootings, things like that — so I don't feel like I've finished [Death Stranding 2], to be frank."

''here comes the feeling'' is the funniest tag line imaginable. cool sneaking suit tho!
