You didn't say it would close "by" July 1st then? "On" July 1st should mean at the end of that date no?

It was closed on 1st July as advertised. A time was not specified.

Bk's post wasn't a submission in the thread just an initial proposal in your planning forum that received no responses. The submissions were actually closed July 2nd, despite Maxine saying on the 1st.
