Sorry to hear that man. not been great for me either recently, but at least silksong has finally come out after about 7 years of waiting, and it's so good so far it might actually have been worth the wait

Sorry about it, Nate. Here are some photos of my girlfriend's new kitten. My family never had cats meaning I've never spent any time around kittens really so this has been new and very nice.

Im doing alright, between work and my couple days off i feel drained, but not so bad. Today im planning on going to this big Circus/Carnival thats happening a few towns over. Looking forward to that!
After many many name suggestions we've settled on Smog (which was suggested after the film Godzilla vs The Smog Monster (Which was suggested after "Hedorah" from the Japanese name of the film, Godzilla vs Hedorah, was suggested but didn't stick for some reason (which was suggested after "King Ghidorah" was suggested but also didn't stick for some reason))).
Adorable, I know you had that stray cat (was it a stray?) at uni but have you properly had cats before?

Sorry to hear that mate, hope things improve for you. I really have to play Hollow Knight soon and eventually get onto this. Even though I'm not in that group it's been lovely seeing people that were waiting so long finally getting to enjoy it

Hope things shape up for you too, Steve. Sorry you’re having a rough patch.
Good to know there’s at least one other Hollow Knight fan on the site! Yet to start it but very excited that it’s there waiting for me.

we think it may have been a young cat that ran away as it seemed to know how to use a litter tray and everything but we didn’t really know its backstory. But yeah Edward Bophades was the closest I’ve come to having a cat.

Finally went clothes shopping today with a day off work, spent too much money for sure lmao but it's been months (maybe over a year?) since I actually went out and bought a good amount of new clothes all at once.

Crazy really, when I bought it all and was trying it all on and whittled it down to what I liked and would buy, it seemed like so much, but I came home and it dawned on me how expensive it was for essentially 3 new pairs of trousers and 2 new tops.

It really is ridiculous how difficult it can be doing this and how much a couple of items can come to. Leelee is terrible for sorting her clothes and we both have so much stuff that really needs to be binned thanks to being too old but that got lost within periods where we moved a good few times. I've tried a few times to pick up a few basics for her thinking it won't be much and then a few t-shirts and trousers later it's over €100.

Someone in work was asking me the other day why some guys seem to wear everything down to the bone although I'm starting to think it's most instead of some. I was sitting in the car and suddenly a hole opened in my shorts, meanwhile I realised half of my nutsack is hanging out of my boxers. The only thing I seem to take care of properly are socks and that's because I got so sick of having mismatching pairs that I binned every pair I had and bought 20 of the one type to avoid it. Then again I had 3 pairs ready for the wash yesterday and literally couldn't find a single other clean pair.

Down with fast fashion!

But joking aside, men do seem to view fashion and clothing in a different way. Like you find clothes you like and fit well and if it isn't broke, don't fix it?

I've got some tee shirts I've had over a decade and they really need chucking. Got some great jumpers and bits that have stood the test of time though.

My wardrobe is similar man. I'll sometimes sleepily put those tees on and I'll only realise like an hour after that they'll have a small hole in or a stain which is never coming off. Instead of chucking them, I just put them back to go through the ILACKORIGINALITYASANAMERICAN and the cycle repeats. 😭

New house, new fit - you'll be the envy of your closest Male relatives!

Lmao this is actually kind of why I had to go and do it. I went to a lot of summer functions and birthdays in tatty clothing, one I went to I was surrounded by such well dressed blokes in this hired out portion of a pub in the middle of summer and I felt like I stuck out like a sore thumb. Thought to myself 'Nah, it's cool. I'll just go freshen up, take a piss, check on how I look in the mirror.', I get to the cubicle and feel the fabric wearing extremely thin around my ballsack in a pair of 5 or 6 year old jean shorts, unzip them and also see that a perfectly shaped 2xbollock sized hole has opened up in my underwear. I was one small leg stretch away from showing everybody my moneymakers (at the sperm bank that is)
