Gentlemen, this is now the Elite Eight of the tournament. Truly those about to go in are much beloved by the community. Let's see who has the honors:

Notes:

• For the first times, MGS had some votes against it. Losing momentum the farther along we go?
  
• Doom finally didn't tie something...and lost.
  
• Tekken seems to be our favorite fighting game, but Soul Caliber almost made it.
  

So here's your Elite Eight: Final Fantasy, Tekken, Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Devil May Cry, and Metal Gear Solid.

Time to make my Final Four and Championship predictions:

I think FF will beat Tekken
I think RE will beat Crash
I think Pokemon will beat LOZ
I think MGS will beat DMC.

So my Final Four will be FF vs RE and Pokemon vs MGS.

I think for my Championship will be....RE vs MGS. They're both classics with that amount of anime cheese that we seem to love. I predict MGS beats RE... say 5-3?

Here it is folks, The Final Four of the MGF Tournament! Let's see who's advanced.

Final Fantasy beats Tekken (7-1)
Resident Evil bashed Crash Bandicoot (6-2)
Pokemon barely beats Legend of Zelda (4-3)
MGS swept Devil May Cry (7-0)

Notes:

• My Final Four predictions were correct so far. I wasn't convinced on Pokemon beating Zelda and that was the closest.
  
• Well for all the "No way Crash Bandicoot beat X" people, RE finally did it. Duck will have to post a new gif now of him dying.
  
• Crash does get credit for being the only non-Japanese game in the entire Elite Eight though. It's just like one of my Japanese animes!
  
• As usual, you have a week to vote for the winners of both brackets. Next Sunday, I'll make one last, third bracket for the championship.

I don't think I've played Dynasty Warriors.

I had several franchises I didn't include. I was aiming to get a bit from as many genres as I could. Maybe I could do this every year for March? Just retire the winner and maybe drop some that never got a vote? A lot of sports games didn't fo very well. But here was my left over list with Dynasty Warriors added:

Yakuza I could add at some point.
The Sims I always saw more as a toy then a game but sure! It's popular enough.
I thought Chrono Trigger was a one off. 
Could also ass PES. 

Also, Darksiders is fun! Granted, I haven't played Genesis.
