I'm of the opinion that at least one of the people who got killed had their identity swapped via the Les Mis ability.  I'm so confounded by how that works that I've lost track.  But I am convinced, beyond a doubt, that someone switched places.  My best approximation of a working theory is that Null was an innocent who was switched with one of the guilty ones.  Again, I got his identity, and the identity had the MJ tape.  So maybe my logic is flawed.  I don't fully understand the rules, I admit this.

I'm going to continue my 'do no harm' mantra for now.

The ability works by having the person who claims it switch ID's and alignment with the next person who dies. We believe a mafia member swapped ID's with Duck, then killed him. We think it was Null because you said he was mafia when you ID'd him, but he came up as a townie when we lynched him. Plus Duck being maifa wouldn't make sense since he died at night.

So... what you're saying is that Null was guilty, but had an innocent's credentials?

This is why I avoid musical theater that doesn't involve robots, man. Too confusing.

And that's how my story came to a close - as mysterious as it had begun.  Had I been silenced by the guilty because I was getting too close?  Or was I wrongfully mistaken for a guilty party by those whose investigation I had hampered?  I really should have stuck to making big market moves.  Well, that's how it goes.  Luckily, there was no creepy skeleton man wanting to play a game of chess - I'd have just confounded him with my lack of understanding of how to castle.  No, I exited the mortal plane in style befitting of one of my station in this time - luxurious, opulent, and downright ugly.  Crank the stereo.  Roll credits.
