Day 2 has ended.
Lynch Agent.

As the operator felt the cold metal of the data probe in his grip he couldn't help but stare at the crew mate whose headjack it was connected to. Laying there, totally helpless. The trust they had all given him was immense-in a few seconds this man would be dead and, regardless of any regrets they had, they were powerless to stop it now that the votes had been cast. The operator just hoped he himself wouldn't regret it yet again. If this person turned out to be their ally, the Pequod was as good as dead. He closed his eyes and pulled.

Inside the Matrix there was a cacophony of smashes as the heavy body took cups and chopsticks with it as it rolled off the table. A strong smoky smell filled the air as dark tea began to form into a pool around the corpse. The operator opened his eyes and hazarded a glance at the monitor. The green glyphs that danced down the screen changed in response to the cessation of life that had just occurred, the operator's eyes scanned for the symbols that spelled out the Pequod's fate. He breathed a heavy sigh of relief...
They'd got one.

Night 4 has begun.

"It's not over, people! We're still in this fight! But until we have exposed the last traitor - we are not in the clear. The Sentinels will smell blood in the water. Knuckle Up!"

The crew stepped out of their rooms and onto the deck one by one. Everyone accounted for. Another quiet night. The Sentinels never came. The operator said nothing-there was a newfound resolve in the crew that no longer needed his stoking. He jacked them in and walked over to his desk. There was one more traitor hiding amongst their ranks, and the situation was the same as the day before-if they guessed wrong, it could spell the end of the Pequod. It was in their hands now, the black monitor was suddenly awash with that familiar green.

The sensation of water falling upon their skin. The warmth of the sun beaming down on them. The crew came to be stood in an aged, crumbling building. The ceilings were completely gone, leaving them exposed to the downpour, and patches of thick grass grew through the cracks in the concrete beneath their feet, reclaiming what was once its own. The pitter of the heavy rain echoed off of the heavier walls that still remained. The crew of the Pequod stood facing one another.

"Someone much wiser than myself once said that everything that has a beginning has an end. One way or another the end is upon us. Far too many have been lost - not just lives. Minds. Fallen prey to the corruption of the Machines. Their failure is mine. I should have inspired them towards further enlightenment. And not pushed us all to this. I do not have the skills needed to bring new evidence to light. As your Captain, all I can do is hear you all make your cases and use my authority to sway the decision. We all may yet perish. But I still believe in the power of the truth. And if truth prevails, we will survive. If we are victorious - I will be tendering my resignation as Captain to Commander Lock personally. The Pequod deserves better. And should the traitor be defeated this day, I have only the utmost confidence in my successor, and the rest of the crew. All right, People. Let's make our stand."
