Greatest game ever made group think actually damaged game entire message.
I understand the fanbase of something being annoying, but why do you feel they've actually damaged the games message? Do you not think it exists in its own right regardless of what fans say about it?
Mindlessly praising mgs2 as greatest game of all time ignoring serious flaws in both story and gameplay.
Yeah I got what you were saying, but you said they damaged the game's entire message. But what about them "mindlessly praising" actually affects the game's themes and messaging? People mindlessly praise new films and the likes all the time but it doesn't actually damage the film as an artefact, even if it annoys you personally. Something like Fight Club on the other hand where people miss the messaging and misrepresent it is an example of people potentially damaging the film's message in my opinion. Do you think that is what's happened with MGS2 or are you just saying people glaze it and you find that annoying?
