Well, we did not lose today. Did not win, either. Nearly the exact same result for my childhood love and the team I actively support (Aston Villa, Walsall). Neutral day, I suppose.

I have hope, though, that as long as Suzuki, McGinn, Buendia, Manzambi, and Jackson stay fit and don't fall out of favour, we will win something again this season. Need to make a habit of that. I would cut my left arm off for an 8th FA Cup.

The Saddlers? I gave up hope we would ever escape League Two roughly two seasons ago. The football God clearly picked Walsall as his most hated team and wants us to suffer in purgatory.
