I actually own the trilogy or 1/2 (can't remember) on PS3 (they were all given away for free at some point) and the HD versions (given away for free again I think? on PS4/5), but I just can't be bothered. And that's despite loving Dragon Age Origins and II, which I think they're all very much in line with in regards to roleplaying.
Just cba! Would rather replay KOTOR!
You're missing out on Mass Effect. Great universe, many memorable characters, lots of meaningful choices. It isn't perfect by any means, and each game has some unique rough edges. But all the same, the trilogy is one of my favorite experiences in gaming. I loved the KOTOR games (including SWTOR), and many of Bioware's other classic output. I count Mass Effect among the best of them. If you have the Legendary trilogy or whatever, please, give it a go sometime.
Don't bother with Andromeda though. While not the train wreck it's made out to be.. let me put it this way. I cannot count the times I've replayed the trilogy. I finished Andromeda once and never felt compelled to return.
