Silent Hill f new info

I am thinking to give a try to Silent Hill games. Do you think it would be a good idea to start with Silent Hill f as first game in series?

I'm in the same position and I've seen a lot of people from the development team saying that it should be fine. Like Dirty Duck says, it's supposed to be quite divorced from the others while still retaining a Silent Hill feel.
