DJ Shadow - Endtroducing

A friend lent it to me must be over 20 years ago now, opened my ears to a genre I'd never heard before and I fell in love with it instantly. Haven't been fussed about his other work but this album was incredible, all made using a sampler. I'm told the live performances were amazing. I can come back to most tracks on this any time and it takes me right back, memories of sitting painting Warhammer figures in my room with this playing, good times.

i just saw dj shadow live last week on his "endtroducing 30th anniversary tour". what a show. i guess he had only recently gone through the process of restoring the original MPC he made the album on as well as locating all the original samples, so he was able to do this really dense live reworking of the album from start to finish.

Damn, I bet that was incredible! Had no idea he was doing that tour, I'll check out some videos, cheers.
