I've been showing my girlfriend Twin Peaks after David Lynch died and we recently got through the hard slog that is season 2. FWWM is truly something else, no matter how many times I watch it, it always feels like the first time. There's something so spiritual and dreamy about it that I can never put into words, this, Lost Highway and Blue Velvet is Lynch at his best imo
Can't wait to start The Return again soon!
That’s awesome man! I actually just got around to watching Twin Peaks with my wife as well. We’re currently at the “Lynch Left” and killer revealed party of season 2. It is def a quality drop but I’m pushing through for the movie and final season. But man, what an amazing series. After the first 3 episodes I had to google if the show was meant to be this funny or if I was misinterpreting its intent. Lynch was a genius.
Hell yeah, it's definitely worth sticking out S2. FWWM and S3 are great but a dit different in feel than S1.
It's definitely supposed to be funny at times
The Missing Pieces is also worth a watch if you enjoy FWWM, it's pretty much a glorified deleted scenes reel of random scenes that were cut that add a bit more context or just show unrelated things. It's around 90 mins in length if I remember correctly
