It's a great sit and chill in the garden playing it on the Steam Deck game. I put hours in to it yesterday while I "watched football" and it hardly touched the battery.
Goals:
Marry Hailey as always.
Community Centre done year 1.
Stop trying to min max.
I suggested this to Leelee a few years back when she said she wanted a new game and I knew her likes, hadn't played it myself but felt like what she wanted from all I had heard. She bounced off it pretty quickly then went back to start it again one day and has played it about 6 times now lol.
I'm finding myself thinking about it while working lol. It's nearly summer so it's blueberry time!
Checked some stats earlier. It's shifted 50mil units since its release in 2016 and over half of those have come in the past 3 years. It was 12th on Steams most active games earlier today and the past 30 days was in the top 8 of its most active months. All 10 years after release and two years since the last major update. And obviously it's just one person. The it's just astonishing.
It's a remarkable achievement and I've watched her play (joined in once or twice on co-op) and seems to have incredible depth and replayability. She's been following the creator ever since and is desperately awaiting his next game.
I'd kill for Haunted Chocolatier as well! But he keeps updating Stardew and it's like, bro, leave it be now. You've done good! No one will think less of you. Stardew will be expanded upon forever by modders at this point.
