I've never played a Lego game before and thought I'd try one before Lego Batman next week incase it's not for me. I'm in to the second mission and this  is incredibly fun and incredibly silly.

Lego games aren't really my jam notmally either from what I've seen and the little I've played but I'm also super excited for Batman.

Playing a lot of AoE2 recently. Thought about playing it "seriously" but realised that's way too much work. I'll be content if i'm a 800 ELO with some meme playstyle that occasionally wins.

recently completed the sabotage studio games (sea of stars & the messenger). kinda nostalgia bait tbf but honestly just great games and fun to play.

the real standout thing i think is the wheels minigame lmao. if there was some way to turn this into an irl board game or smth that would go crazy

Mouse: P.I. for Hire. I really liked Troy Baker as Higgs in Death Stranding 1 and 2. And he does a great detective. I normally don't like these type of shooting games but I'm enjoying it a bit.

Started Lego Batman last night although I literally only had about 30 minutes with it. This combined with all of Reeves' teases in the last 2 weeks has left me needing a Batman 2 trailer.

I pre ordered it on Tuesday but didn't realise I prefer ordered the wrong edition and couldn't do the early access. Got my code 15 minutes after setting off for work this morning so I get to install it later and hop on for the long weekend.

I think this is the first time I've ever gotten an "early access" edition of a game, and to be honest I didn't really have any interest in that aspect of it as Tuesday to Thursday are my workdays where I do anything between 10-14 hours plus 2-4 hours commuting. But I saw it includes a future DLC pack plus other stuff now so I figured why not.

My friend is super into Smash Melee to the point of picking up an old pink CRT TV so he could practice with no lag, he's now decided to leave it in my house because it takes up too much space.

Was initially mad but I've been playing a bunch of old gamecube games on a proper CRT and it's been very nostalgic
