Hollow Knight

I'm trying so hard to like this (Hollow Knight) game, but I cannot for the life of me beat the first boss, haha. Feels like I keep running into a brick wall each time I get to him. I am bad at this.

I was the same when I started playing. Trust me, stick with it, you won't regret it.

Oh, I'll get there. I'm already in love with the art design and music, I just need to get past this big fucker.

Once you get used to the push back from hits (especially the downward air attack) you get into a flow of making sure you're close enough to hit lots of times in a row when there's an opening. Keep at it! It's an insanely rewarding combat system imo
