It's supposed to, yeah, although I'm not sure if it repeats or anything. I've just checked where you find it but I'm not sure I remember actually getting it which is odd as I scoured that area for items. Maybe I just haven't used it.

It definitely works on Kerotans but there’s no mention of GA-KO. I think it doesn’t honestly, I’ve had it equipped when I’ve exited a menu near enough to a GA-KO to hear it with the mic, but nothings happened. I’ve tried googling but of course searching “how to find GA-KO” only returns “ALL GA-KO LOCATIONS!”

Give a man a GA-KO, feed him for a day etc etc
