Leelee got me the new BFI edition of Seven Samurai for Christmas. Finding time to watch it is a challenge though.

Well, I'd rather not have a reboot but MitM is one of, if not, my absolute favourite show of all time and I think every character is perfectly cast and this near forty year old man cannot cope with this travesty.

I am not excited for any of these mid-2000s American sitcom reboots. They're supposedly rebooting Scrubs too, which is arguably my favourite show of all time, and I have no doubt it's going to be terrible.

I too loved Scrubs dearly. I do think a reboot could still be better than the last couple of seasons I watched, though. No Ted will be a massive shame.
Scrubs is one of those rare shows that I will actually properly laugh out loud at. Never sure about reboots either though, but will probably still watch it.

Just finished season 1 of White Lotus and enjoyed it. The hype on it is crazy though. Not yet started season 2, which is apparently better.

I watched Heretic the other night with my girlfriend. We wanted to see it in cinemas but never got the chance so we rented it on Amazon. It wasn't bad at all

I have a copy of this arriving soon and am looking forward to watching it, I missed out on it in theatres too with other stuff out around the same time.

Was watching Severence as it came out thanks to a co-worker's recommendation. I liked it but was wanting to see if Apple had anything else worth watching on Apple TV. Found out about Silo and I'll recommend it to you guys. I'm liking it.

Rewatched Midnight In Paris. Felt quite nostalgic about it from the first time we watched it (ironically), but I really didn't remember it as well as I thought I did. Still enjoyed it a fair bit but it does leave me feeling a little bit empty.

Been watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force for the first time. My girlfriend and I joke that she's like Master Shake and she says I'm like Meatwad.

I ended up watching Airplane (1980) just cause I didn't have the attention span for a 3 hour movie yesterday. I wish they still made that kind of irreverent, off beat comedy like they used to.

Has anyone seen Blue Eye Samurai? I remember hearing about it a while back as a series on Netflix (?) but never got around to it. Was it any good?

Watched the finale of 1923 tonight, it was an ok show but I was so ready for it to be over, it was really starting to feel like a chore to watch. And now I hear word of yet ANOTHER Yellowstone prequel show in the works

Finally got around to watching Apocalypse Now. 3 and a half hours is a lot of time to commit to locking in for a movie.

I liked it a lot, I can definitely see it's influence on Metal Gear (the whole movie is basically the plot of Snake Eater) and why it's got the cult following it has. Really loved how in the very beginning of the movie the MC is losing his mind in a Saigon hotel because all he wants to do is get back in the jungle, and as the movie goes along, everyone else around him becomes more and more unhinged because they want to get out of it.

Great movie. Ending totally sucked though. I almost feel like with how stellar the main body of the film was, the ending being bad was almost on purpose.
