What are you watching?

I saw this too and enjoyed it but found it really strange.

I only saw the first 2 films right before the third one came out so they're all pretty fresh in my head

Marty Supreme in 70mm

It was a really neat movie, my only gripes are that the music was a bit too synth-y and it clashed with the 1950s setting for me. And I don't really care for Timothée as an actor.
But overall a really excellent movie and I'm keen to watch it again. I also got a box of orange ping pong balls for free!

Watched Aftersun today. Annoyed at myself for having not watched it before. Superb.

Great film. That year was honestly insane for good films and heart wrenchers.

Been watching Fallout Season 2 and X Files still. I think Fallout S2 has honestly been so weirdly disjointed. Couldn't care less for about 40% of the plotlines, and the other 60% feel unfinished. But people seem to love it so, maybe I'm just a soulless hack.

I felt that way for the first few episodes, there were too many stories they were trying to tell and it felt like it just wasn't linking up. I have to catch up on the last two but I really liked the one before that and felt like it was beginning to come together.

I'm probably going to listen to the Audiobooks starting tomorrow (shouldn't take too long to get the first book out of the way) before watching the first episode. Looking forward to it, somehow. I need more Westeros in my life even though we know what happened to GoT and the glut of problems I have with HotD season 2. I hope they don't do me dirty for the third time.

Watched the first episode. It was beautiful. I can't wait to have my heart broken again. I love what they've done with Lyonel Baratheon.

Fallout Season 2 Finale was shite.

The Muppet Show TV Special was deeply enjoyable.

Just came back from watching Twinless. Damn, may actually be one of, if not my absolute favourite film of 2025. Dylan O'Brien's great in it.

Yeah Fallout S2 was a let down unfortunately. It fixed a lot of the stupid retcons of the first season but just wasn't anywhere near as enjoyable.

AKOTSK is the best thing HBO have put out, Westeros wise. ARES! GIVE ME ANOTHER THREE SEASONS UNTIL THEY ADAPT THE SHE-WOLVES OF WINTERFELL AND MY SOUL IS YOURS!

Ahem.

I'm just really up on this creative team.

IN THE NAME OF THE MOTHER WE NEED MORE!

Yeah it's been phenomenal so far. The casting (I'm not one to gush over kids, but I love DSA as Egg), the tone, the cinematography and the diegetic music. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE DIEGETIC MUSIC?! HotD season 3 isn't topping this. Even if they do The God's Eye this season. I see why GRRM has lost his shit over Season 2 although I did enjoy (most of) it.

I've read people saying it could have been a movie and while they're not wrong, what's been added to "pad out" the Novella has been absolutely fantastic. Ira Parker, I'm your man.
