Edit: I haven't used a forum in years, how the hell do I make the text smaller?
Good to see you! Welcome home. Remember seeing a fair few of your posts when browsing the old site.

As in, smaller across the board? I don’t actually know if that’s possible. I’ll look into it when I have a chance. How big is it on your device lol?

Loads of people won’t have seen the email so if you’ve got any old members on any social media or PSN feel free to send the link their way!

You can make it smaller or bigger by highlighting the text you want to change and the. clicking the “↕️A” in the full Post Reply screen. Or typing code such as:
{diceroller-code}But for me your post looks the same as Nate’s-the default size should be fine unless you want to mix it up for some reason!

Cheers, appreciate it. Smile I'll leave it as-is in that case. I'm using a phone at the minute, if that means anything/makes any difference. Good on you building the new site! I may still have my old OH signature somewhere to dig out (wondering if any of those peeps are still here?). I had a very cringe-inducing look through the old posts and it made me feel like a right opinionated little knob, haha. But it's also pretty amazing to think how the internet developed over the years and it's a bit 'aww, bless' looking back how primitive it was then. I've been fairly off-grid most of my life so sadly didn't have any members in any private circles, sorry, mate. But MGSF was probably the only forum I ever had an account with and frequented. I remember names like Helikaon, Sadistic Grey Fox, Eva, Mickey, Sigint, who I got along with though, hope they're all well.

Welcome back! If it helps I'm on mobile too and I find text size is fine, have you tried using the mobile theme (Ghost Babel)?

Cheers, mate! No, what mobile theme is this? Smile Let me know how to access it please, will give it a bash.
Nate's talking about the Ghost Babel theme.

You can change your theme from the drop down menu in the bottom right of the site!
Perfect! I see what you mean now on the post you linked about the text being a bit clearer/larger in this theme. Cheers, both!

Wow. I not only can't believe I'm replying in this forum in 2025, but I'm blown away to be around a group of people who have the same memories as me of the "old" internet. That's rare in regular every day life. Kind of excited to have discovered this place even though my life is substantially different than last time I posted here. One thing that is not different however, is the fact that this is still my favorite game series of all time and I still play through as many of the games every year as I can. Good to see everyone!

Welcome (back)

We’re genuinely glad you’ve found us. At our bones we’re an MGS fan board but..we do want to represent a bit more as well. A safe haven for the old internet where nostalgia is preserved and encouraged.

For me originally MGSF was an escape of sorts, especially as a teenager with various issues. As an adult (with different issues) this still has a similar function for me in a way the rest of the internet just doesn’t provide.

Great you found the site! And while we're all appreciators of the old internet it's no secret that it's harder to find sites like this compared to social media groups so...how did you come across it? Interesting to know how people find their way here!
Look forward to seeing you around!
