The future of the series

I feel as though Delta is Konami's way of apologizing for how they've treated the series since TPP. I mean, they put Kojima's name front and center in the opening credits of the remake, something I didn't expect at all. Could they be trying to extend a hand towards KojiPro to get the team back on the franchise? I doubt it, but this is the most hopeful I've been in a long long time.

I know Kojima was a pain in Konami's ass. But he made them a shit ton of money. I don't know what new content for the series they could possibly make other than remakes, but I would LOVE a game where we get to play as The Boss.
