Question: Do you think MGS2's themes and ideas are actually still relevant?

MGS4 is where Kojima decides the series is no longer about Solid Snake, Big Boss, legacy, genes, memes etc. It's about making everything about The Boss and it undermines everything. It's major regression.

MGS2 and 4 will hold up to the test of time the most. 2 was made with a magic ball, and 4 has never been more relevant than today. If only 4 was a good game....

Lol I remember people calling this out alot back in the days. I dont remember much of MGS4 but I'm planning a run-through as soon as I'm done with MGS2 again - ill get back to you ^^

MGS4 is just staggeringly uncreative. But it does completely rip off Universal Soldier in Act V so it's not all bad I guess (iykyk).
