Organization Chat

Probably the best game I've played so far this year. Also probably has my favourite OST in the past few years - that one track, ''We Lost'', inject that shit into my veins.

Oh yeah the soundtrack is already one of the best I've heard.

Just beat Act II a moment ago so we're making progress.

Was contemplating getting my brother-in-law something big this Christmas, he's done us a good few favours over the years (especially last year when at short notice he had to stay where we are and look after our pets for almost a month when Leelee had to go abroad for surgery). I tried getting him tickets to bring him to see his football team this year but seems almost impossible for some clubs unless you've got a season ticket or are willing to feed the scalpers and touts (which I'm not, especially as it seems like people selling on unverified ticket sites are being cracked down on).

Anyway, I was struggling to think of anything else he'd want. Then I got it into my head that he'd need a new console for GTAVI. He's been stuck on the Xbox One for years without an upgrade so he's missed out on a few games in recent years, but with the malaise of Microsoft and them not looking like they'll be keeping many exclusives any more I was reluctant to go with a Series X so I thought about a PS5. Only thing is he's been reluctant to move across any time I've asked him in recent years even though we like playing stuff together where we can but crossplay titles across generations are rare. But a few weeks back I tested the waters and it was the first time he seemed to not really care about not carrying over his Xbox data.

Leelee told me off and said it was unnecessary and to not do it but I still feel we owe him even though he's never expected anything. I was still a bit wary it might end up like when someone got him a PS4 years ago and he used it for Spiderman and didn’t touch it again so I was getting slightly hesitant over the idea. But then yesterday we got talking about samurai stuff somehow and he mentioned that he desperately wants to play Ghost of Yotei which I was really surprised by. Maybe there were other Sony games he's wanted too but he's just avoided talking about them because he's expected he won't get to. I even showed him the limited edition console (which I can still get here for now) and he said he loves white and gold combinations. So satisfying when a plan comes together perfectly.

On the other hand I have no idea what I'll be doing for literally everyone else. 🤷‍♂️

I am forced to start thinking about it now, I'm in a savings scheme in work (I swear it's the only time I've ever started to save and it's because I don't see it coming out of my wages) and I'll be getting it next month. I hate thinking about it this early but she's bloody playing Christmas music and movies since June.

If you want the truth I'd lose this in January.
