I went to a board game festival the other day and just played Blood on the Clocktower for 3 days. However, I did play a singular board game called "Cheese Thief" and I highly recommend it. I think it's got huge drunk potential.

A board game festival? Sounds incredible. My girlfriend really doesn't like games so the difficulty of organising playing board games has gotten even harder since being with her.

I played this game called Atmosfear weekend before last. The actual things you do to progress are pretty standard but the rude French man on the telly constantly interrupting that to tell you to do something else definitely makes it novel:

"Festival" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. It's a big meetup with games being played, hosted, competitions etc. I think convention is a more accurate term, but sounds a bit clinical. There's another one in Manchester in October / November this year.
