Question: What are you looking forward to revisiting in Vol. 2?

As the title says. I know a lot of us haven't played MGS4 in a long time so which part of the game are you most eager to experience again on current gen tech?

I'm personally most excited for Act 2. Laughing Octopus has always been my favourite boss in the game and the South America section leading up to her isn't as fresh in my mind as the locations in the other Acts so it will feel more like a fresh experience compared to those.

I'm also eager to play around with the gun customisation. I remember it being such an exciting part of the game when I was younger and felt super "next-gen" lmao.

I think the battle against Crying Wolf will benefit the most from the increased resolution and frame rate. A sniper duel demands full clarity, and all those snow and wind effects made it a little tricky to make out the fine details needed to do the battle justice.

Sneaking through the big battles in Act 1 without frame rate drops will be pretty wild, too.

Also, I just want the satisfaction of pressing the "zoom in" button (probably relocated from D-Pad since it was pressure sensitive) during the end of ACT 3 to confirm it's no longer pre-rendered.

Oh man the list is long. Was a long time ago I did a playthrough but on the top of my head and the things I look forward to the most are:
- Hearing the Old Snake theme song
- Hearing the Love Theme song
- Seeing Johnny shit himself
- Refreshing the story again, specially hearing the lore behind all of the beasts and seeing the similarities between MGS4 and how the world has evolved today
- Visiting Shadow Moses
- Playing with MG-REX
- See the heartbreaking conversation between Big Boss and Snake
- Seeing Raiden breakdance and slice through a couple of Gekkos
- Seeing and listening to Drebin again, thought he was an awesome character back then
- The CQC fight between Snake and Liquid on top of MG-REX

Writing this list has gotten me even more hyped now lol, gonna save some vacation time for August.

I dont know there is just something special about MGS4. Imo its just really really good in all of the aspects. The nostalgia trips makes it even better, I really do have a soft spot for MGS4. Also, this time I will definatly try to platinum it when Im a bit older and wiser.
