MGF Mafia I: Murders & Executions
All of a sudden, a controversial remark about the establishment’s “goyslop” rings through the chaos. With the skill of a ventriloquist, nobody can tell who it came from. A follow up about high-fructose corn syrup and its lobbyists alerts the staff to protect their overlords. The gang is swiftly removed from the premises and the evening meal ends prematurely.

DAY 4 END - NO LYNCH

NIGHT 4 START

Whoever it was that caused the commotion at McDonalds was a mastermind. Corn Syrup. The con of the century. Brilliant, really. First, they change Coca-Cola's time-honored recipe (well, after removing the narcotic). It tastes terrible, business tanks. Outrage grows. Then they bring back the "classic" version. Of course, it isn't the real deal. They swapped out cane sugar for corn syrup. But it tastes closer to the real thing than the interim New Coke. Close enough to fool most people.

The exact same tactic worked on me. That Null fellow was Coke Classic. The real killer was the one who made the swap. I'm going to find the real thing. I have to make this right. Somehow.

75 9th Ave, Meatpacking District, Manhattan, NY

We're at a roadside falafel stand, the remaining suspects were voicemailed to make their own way to the location. The only music comes from the speaker of a nearby apartment. It is getting cold now and the four appear irritated by the lack of indoor venue. After a premature end to the previous day they must be feeling anxious. The dark grey clouds leer ominously overhead, urging us to bring this tale to a conclusion.

Before they can begin discussions, a strange man in a Hawaiian shirt and thick glasses passes by. His arms are heavily tattooed and head clean shaven, despite a hairline that appears salvageable.

"You weren't supposed to idolise them you know!"

He begins ranting at my confused guests without provocation. It's difficult to make out what he says from my vantage point, something about media literacy. Attempts at interjecting are futile. After a minute or two he leaves. Perhaps the character cast and dressed and written and directed to look cool was actually bad? The revelation shocks me for a moment, until I remember my falafel and houmous wrap is getting stale.

Gut feeling says BK. St3ve is viable but a mafia going AWOL seems unlikely.

You think Null was town after all? We have to have killed one mafia by this point otherwise it'd be 2v2 and the game would be over with a mafia win. Meaning if we lynch the wrong person today, we lose.

Anyway I'm not sure why we moved from the McD, but I'm glad we did. The Playplace was closed.  Sad

So Jass pointed the finger at me and died. Not a good look for me, but I'm thinking the mafia probably did that on purpose to make me look guilty. I think strschwar is town, I'm undecided on st3ve and Aragorn. Of course, the day ended yesterday before I could do my own alignment check. I'd only used my ID on Jass when four people in a trenchcoat followed him home that night. I maintain that I couldn't be the mafia since I think Null was one and why would the mafia both follow the same person on the same night? Also, why would they make it known they did when both were still alive and neither in the crosshair yet?

If you'll pardon me, I need to go to work. I'll check in as time permits but I may glace in one of my last two suspects pockets as I leave. I would have yesterday, but someone closed the McD first.
