If not for my gun none of y’all would talk. It was a sacrifice for the greater good + too funny to not do.
Very well played all around, though. BB88’s gambit was ridiculous.

"Dude, this town's wack! It's full of psychos! I've got to get out of here, like, yesterday. I should go to LA. I heard here in Cali they'll let you smoke weed if your doctor's cool."Great game, Duck. That was really fun. (25-10-2026, 03:43 PM)Aragorn Wrote: If not for my gun none of y’all would talk. Very well played all around, though. BB88’s gambit was ridiculous. I really thought you were in on it until the penultimate night when Tibbs was too afraid to role claim and then he and Roy both claimed the same role.

I never guessed that I was the one Agent was protecting when he died! I'm glad we at least managed to capitalise on that so he didn't die for nothing. Good game ty Duck for hosting and good job Annoying Prick for taking point on the town side. Well played by mafia too... until it all came crashing down at the end. If that Agent framing gambit hadn't flopped it would have been a different story.

As I sit in my cell - padded most likely - I wonder. I'd been used to deliver messages and create disinformation. But I was hardly the slasher villain I should have been. No Freddy/Chucky/Leprechaun style one liners, nor any terrifying nonverbal presence like Michael, Jason, or Leatherface. I was a mere pawn. No. A puppet.
I will get out someday. Somehow. And next time. I pull the strings.
Thank you all! Much respect to BB88 and Tibbs for guiding me through my first time (see, the role fits!) as a mafia. It was a learning experience, and I might not be so useless next time around. Still, I was the last man standing so that kinda counts for something.
I had hoped to use my own fandom of a number of horror series to contribute to the meta level of stuff here, but it didn't work out. The big irony? I still haven't seen the Scream movies! I've got a lot on my plate nowadays, but I know I'll enjoy them. The idea's rock solid. I'm sure I'll enjoy them while being late to the party.
Early in the game, I mentioned my real life situation. I stopped talking about it because I realized that someone might misinterpret that as misinformation, or worse still, me trying to manipulate a forum game based on serious stuff and that sucks. I apologize for any emotional inconvenience. Let me reassure you that the issues are real. But it's all looking up! My dad's had a series of health scares over the past six months, but for nearly a week now, we've had enough results to say that he's, generally speaking, in the clear. Thank you to everyone for your sympathy, and sorry again if I derailed this game at all.
I'm looking forward to the next one! I should be more active, less distracted.
