Is there really a strong case that Aragorn was purposely saved? The main argument against lynching him was 'let's not dogpile someone for no reason'. And 'I think Aragorn was purposely saved by mafia looking out for each other but I don't actually think he's mafia so let's not lynch him anymore' is a bit incoherent to me. Honestly the fact bb88 and null were both on the lynch Aragorn train and are now both deflecting suspicion by inventing a seemingly fictitious pro-Aragorn (as opposed to anti-potshots) faction has me pretty suspicious.

I think the idea that a lynch train on Aragorn was diverted is as solid as anything else being surmised at this point. I'm not deflecting suspicion, there's no concrete case being made against me for me to deflect any suspicion away. I'm just being pro-active and playing the game. 

It was Null who theorized that it seems like a mafia save because he might be mafia. (Which could be right btw but there’s no proof)

Actually it was Roy, but as I said, I think it's the most solid basis we've got right now.

If they ever make a Stab film about this I'd advise the writer to streamline the dialogue a bit...the room spoke in circles for a while, with most discussion revolving around two individuals.

The true finger pointing had barely begun when somebody mentioned a gun, which ignited something within one of the aforementioned individuals.
"Great point. Henry, have you ever seen an unlicensed firearm?" They pulled out a snubnosed revolver and aimed it squarely at their fellow suspect. There was no hesitation as they pulled the trigger. The bullet went clean through the man's jugular. Blood billowed from his neck as his body was sent spinning, throwing him against the couch, grabbing against the fabric covering it before flopping down to the ground, bringing the newly bloodied dustcover down on top of him. There was no way he survived that...unless he was a killer with one last scare left in him....?

Nothing. I quickly looked over the body for any hint the corpse lying there was Ghostface, but all I found was his Sheriff badge.

Everyone went their separate ways, with more than one look back over their shoulder on their way out.

Sorry for being a non-entity today folks. Tuesdays are always my busiest, doubly so in current circumstances.

Nobody sat on the couch the third morning, likely due to the shrouded body at the foot of it. Those of us already present spread as far throughout the room as we could, none closer together than three metres. The mood was even twitchier than before. Sure, the risk of being killed was just as real yesterday, but the concept of safety in numbers kind of loses its meaning once the numbers start shooting each other. The Deputy, or acting Sheriff now I suppose, hadn't arrived yet. I was starting to feel like a babysitter, mostly due to the average age in the room, but the scary movie playing amidst the silence likely played more of a part than I'd like to admit.

We were about to assume The Deputy dead when he finally came through the door. The feeling of relief was palpable in the room. Did we make it through the night death free? The Deputy was explaining that no bodies had been found during the night when he stopped mid sentence, staring at the body on the floor. Everyone followed his gaze and one by one, the penny dropped. The legs currently poking out from the dustcover weren't The Sheriff's. We lifted the veil...

We were dropping like flies and the Prime Suspect had a pretty good alibi.

Well now we have to see if Aragorn is a trigger happy mafia or reckless townie. Bonus points on the reckless part if he's the deputy.

Why would he be mafia? Doesn't this confirm he is town? I can only see one role that has such a power and they are town.

And if he is town I think that makes it much more likely that Bigbos88 is too since he was so intent on defending Aragorn and wanted to draw attention to the no lynchers instead of even Null, another town.

I knew we should have lynched Aragorn. Even if he's a townie, he's a bad one, BAKE HiM AWAY TOYS.

I want to lynch a killer first though. Killing Wayno, whilst incredibly funny, is a safe bet arousing no suspicion.

My top suspects are bk and Roger, they're are no lynchers with the most erratic posting history it feels to me.
