Something has occurred to me.

Based on how the archetypes work there was no reason for us to assume that Aragorn was town.

In the same way that Agent could be both The Jock and mafia Aragorn could be both The Final Girl and mafia. I cannot see anything in the archetype description implying he must be town.

I'm not saying I think this is what happened but we have been assuming he is town for no good reason. Instead of just being trigger happy he could have shot Null on that day phase on purpose hoping we would read him as town and do exactly as we are doing now. He could also have been involved in setting Agent up lile this.

Ah sheeet. This puts Aragorn (and now BB88 who always claims he's 'confirmed town' by Aragorn) back on the list
